Earlier today, Brandon Flesher read from his poetry collection Chasing Shadows at the Cladaugh Coffee Shop in Saint Paul. There was also a guest appearance by Henry Rifle, whose book Ballistics Report was released in 2011.
Henry opened up with his signature blunt and wry poems that explored his humorous take on life. While Brandon’s poems delved into themes of love and loss, exemplified by Twenty Seven, a poem dedicated to a friend who committed suicide.
